حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الشَّيباني، حدثنا علي بنُ الحسن الهِلالي، حدثنا أبو مَعمَر، حدثنا عبد الوارث بن سعيد، عن حَبيب المعلِّم، عن عمرو بن شعيب. قال أبو مَعمَر: وقد حدَّثَناه حَبيبٌ المعلّم، عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن سعيد المقبُري، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "لا يَنكِحُ الزاني المجلودُ إلّا مثلَه" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A fornicator who has been flogged should marry only someone like himself (a fornicator)."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده صحيح. أبو معمر: هو عبد الله بن عمرو المِنْقَري المُقعَد.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): "Abu Ma'mar" is Abd Allah bin Amr al-Minqari al-Muq'ad.
وأخرجه أبو داود (2052) عن أبي معمر، بإسناديه.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (2052) recorded it from Abu Ma'mar, with both of his chains.
وأخرجه أحمد 14/ (8300) عن عبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث، وأبو داود (2052) عن مُسدَّد، كلاهما عن عبد الوارث بن سعيد، به.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (14/8300) recorded it from Abd al-Samad bin Abd al-Warith, and Abu Dawud (2052) from Musaddad; both of them from Abd al-Warith bin Sa'id, with the aforementioned chain.
