Sahl bin Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives for Allah, withholds for Allah, loves for Allah, hates for Allah and marries for the pleasure of Allah, has perfected his faith."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This narration is "sahih li-ghayrihi" except for the words "wa ankaha lillah" (and arranges marriage for the sake of Allah). Technical note / Defect ('illah): For corroborations and supporting reports, this chain is hasan because of "Abu Marhum" (Abd al-Rahim bin Maymun). Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (2521) recorded it from Abbas bin Muhammad al-Duri, from Abd Allah bin Yazid al-Muqri', with this same chain. Important point: The manuscripts of al-Tirmidhi differ over his verdict on this hadith: in some he calls it "hasan", and in others "munkar". Grading: The more correct is that it is "hasan", because al-Tirmidhi graded as hasan hadiths narrated with this same chain in several places in his "Jami'". Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Without the mention of "inkah" (arranging marriage), it is supported by the hadith of Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) in Abu Dawud (4681), and its chain is "hasan".
