كَرَمُ الْمُؤْمِنِ دِينُهُ وَمُرُوَّتُهُ عَقْلُهُ وَحَسَبُهُ خُلُقُهُ .

حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الرَّبيع بن سليمان، حدثنا أَسَد بن موسى، حدثنا حماد بن سَلَمة، عن محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سَلَمة، عن أبي هريرة، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: يا بني بَيَاضةَ، أَنكِحُوا أبا هندٍ وانكِحُوا إليه". قال: وكان حجّامًا (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Banu Bayadah, marry Abu Hind (to one of your women) and take (wives for yourselves) from him in marriage." The narrator said: He (Abu Hind) was a cupper (hajjam).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده حسن من أجل محمد بن عمرو: وهو ابن علقمة الليثي.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan" because of Muhammad bin Amr (Ibn Alqamah al-Laythi).
وأخرجه ابن حبان (4067) عن ابن خزيمة، عن الربيع بن سليمان، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (4067) recorded it from Ibn Khuzaymah, from al-Rabi' bin Sulayman, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أبو داود (2102) عن عبد الواحد بن غياث، وابن حبان (6078) من طريق عبد الأعلى بن حماد، كلاهما عن حماد بن سلمة، به.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (2102) recorded it from Abd al-Wahid bin Ghiyath, and Ibn Hibban (6078) via Abd al-A'la bin Hammad; both of them narrate it from Hammad bin Salamah with the aforementioned chain.
