حدَّثَناه أبو بكر بنُ إسحاق الفقيه، أخبرنا عُبيد بن شَريك، حدثنا الليث بن سعد. وحدثنا أبو بكر، أخبرنا أبو المثنّى، حدثنا مُسدَّد، حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد؛ كلاهما عن محمد بن عَجْلان، عن سعيد المقبُري، قال: سمعت أبا هريرة يُحدّث عن النبي ﷺ، مثلَه (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), with the like of it.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده قوي من أجل محمد بن عجلان. أبو المثنّى: هو معاذ بن المثنّى العَنْبَري، ويحيى بن سعيد: هو القطّان.
Grading: This chain is "strong" (qawi) because of Muhammad bin Ajlan.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): "Abu al-Muthanna" is Mu'adh bin al-Muthanna al-Anbari, and "Yahya bin Sa'id" is the famous imam Yahya bin Sa'id al-Qattan.
وأخرجه النسائي (5324) عن قتيبة بن سعيد، عن الليث بن سعد، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (5324) recorded it from Qutaybah bin Sa'id, from al-Layth bin Sa'd, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 12/ (7421) عن يحيى القطان، والنسائي (8912) عن عمرو بن علي الفلّاس عن يحيى القطان، به. إلّا أنه قال في روايته: "وماله" بدل: "ومالها". وانظر "المحلى" لابن حزم 8/ 315 - 316.
Reference / Source: Ahmad recorded it in "al-Musnad" (12/7421) from Yahya al-Qattan, and al-Nasa'i (8912) from Amr bin Ali al-Fallas, from Yahya al-Qattan.
Details of the narration: However, in his narration he said "wa-maluhu" (and his wealth) instead of "wa-maluha" (and her wealth).
