حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب الأُموي، حدثنا محمد بن سنان القَزّاز، حدثنا عبد الله بن خُمْران، حدثنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر، أخبرني أبي، عن عمر بن الحَكَم، عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، قال: أتى رسولَ الله ﷺ رجلٌ وهو يَقسِمُ تمرًا يوم حُنين، فقال: يا محمد، اعدِلْ، قال: "وَيحَك ومَن يعدلُ عليك إذا لم أعدِلْ؟ " أو "عند مَن تلتمِسُ العدْلَ بعدي؟ " ثم قال: "يُوشِكُ أن يأتيَ قومٌ مثلُ هذا، يَسألُون كتابَ الله وهم أعداؤه، يقرؤون كتابَ الله، محلَّقةً رؤوسُهم، فإذا خَرجُوا فاضرِبُوا رقابَهم" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه بهذه السِّياقة.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was distributing dates on the day of Hunayn when a man came to him and said: O Muhammad, be just! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to you! If I do not act justly, then who else will act justly for you?" Or he said: "With whom will you seek justice after me?" Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon people like this man will appear who will ask (in the name of) the Book of Allah while they are its enemies; they will recite the Book of Allah, and their heads will be shaved. So when they come out (in rebellion), strike their necks."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it with this wording.

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل محمد بن سنان القزاز، وقد توبع.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih", and its present chain is "hasan" in corroborations and supporting reports because of Muhammad bin Sinan al-Qazzaz, and he has also been corroborated.
وأخرجه ابن أبي عاصم في "السنة" (944) عن أبي موسى محمد بن المثنى، والطبراني في "الكبير" (14249) من طريق رجاء بن محمد العُذري، كلاهما عن عبد الله بن حُمران، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Abi 'Asim narrated it in "al-Sunnah" (944) from Muhammad bin al-Muthanna, and al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (14249) via Raja' bin Muhammad al-'Udhri; both of them narrate it from 'Abdullah bin Humran with this same chain.
وأخرجه بنحوه أحمد (11/ 7038) من طريق مِقْسَم أبي القاسم، عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، وإسناده حسن.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan".
