حدثنا علي بن عيسى، حدثنا مُسدَّد بن قطن، حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شَيْبة، حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور، حدثنا عبد السلام بن حَرْب، عن يزيد بن عبد الرحمن، عن الحَكَم، عن ميمون بن أبي شَبيب، عن عليٍّ: أنه فَرَّق بين جاريةٍ وولدِها، فنهاهُ النبي ﷺ عن ذلك، ورَدَّ البيعَ (3).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he separated a slave woman and her child (when selling them), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade him from that and annulled the sale (transaction).
