Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 259

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are not even one part in a hundred thousand of those who will come to me at the Pool on the Day of Resurrection." The narrator said: We asked Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him): How many were you that day? He said: Between six hundred and seven hundred.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it; they left it because there is a difference in its text regarding the number. And Allah knows best.
