It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek out the weak for me, for you are provided for and helped only on account of your weak ones."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it with this wording; they recorded the hadith of Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) in which he thought that he had superiority over those below him.

Grading: Its chain is sahih. By the narrator Ibn Jabir is meant Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid. Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (2594) and al-Nasa'i (4373) narrated it through al-Walid bin Muslim and Umar bin Abd al-Wahid. Note / Clarification: "Ibghuni" (with a connecting hamzah) means "search for me", and if the hamzah is disjunctive it means "help me in searching".
Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari (2896) alone narrated it, not Muslim.
