It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever keeps a horse in the way of Allah out of faith in Allah and affirming His promise, then that horse's eating its fill, its drinking its fill, its dung and its urine will all be in the scale of his deeds as good deeds on the Day of Resurrection."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih. Reference / Source: Imam al-Nasa'i narrated it with the chain al-Harith bin Miskin from Ibn Wahb. Important point: This hadith is found in al-Bukhari (2853), so Imam al-Hakim's including it as a "mustadrak" (a hadith not found in al-Bukhari) is an oversight on his part. Reference / Source: The same meaning is also narrated via Abu Salih from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) in al-Bukhari, Muslim, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah.
