Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 2451

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever meets Allah without any mark of jihad upon him will meet Him with a breach (thulmah) in him (that is, a defect or deficiency)."
This is an important hadith on this subject; however, the two Shaykhs did not use Isma'il bin Rafi' as evidence.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the printed edition "'Ubayd Allah" was printed by mistake, whereas the correct form is "'Abd Allah" (Muhammad bin 'Abd Allah bin Quraysh al-Naysaburi), whose biography is found in "al-Ansab" under (al-Riwanji).

Grading: This chain is weak due to the weakness of Isma'il bin Rafi'.
Important point: The correct wording of this hadith is that of 'Umar bin Muhammad bin al-Munkadir, which has passed in the previous chains.
