Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 2448

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every deceased person has his deeds sealed (that is, his deeds come to an end), except the murabit (the guard of the frontier), for his deeds continue to grow for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he is granted safety from the trial of the grave."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
