It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any army fighting in the path of Allah that obtains spoils receives two-thirds of its reward of the Hereafter in advance (in this world), and one-third remains for them. And if they do not obtain spoils, their reward (for the Hereafter) is complete."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih. Technical note / Defect ('illah): The narrator Abu Hani' al-Khawlani in the chain is Humayd bin Hani', and Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli is 'Abd Allah bin Yazid al-Ma'afiri. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (6577), Muslim (1906), Abu Dawud (2497), Ibn Majah (2785) and al-Nasa'i (4318) narrated it through various routes from 'Abd Allah bin Yazid al-Muqri'. Important point: Imam al-Hakim's including it in al-Mustadrak is an oversight (dhuhul) on his part, because it is already in Sahih Muslim. Reference / Source: Imam Muslim (1906) also narrated it via Nafi' bin Yazid from Abu Hani' al-Khawlani. Note / Clarification: "Ghaziyah" is the feminine of ghazi, and here it is used as an attribute of a fighting company or group.
