It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyidah Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) had given her turn to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and I think this verse was revealed about that: "And if a woman fears ill-treatment or aversion from her husband." [Surah al-Nisa: 128]
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, and the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Grading: Apart from the mention of the revelation of the verse, the rest of the hadith is "sahih", and this chain is "hasan" because of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Zinad. Sawdah's (may Allah be pleased with her) giving her turn to A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is established from other narrations. Reference / Source: Abu Dawud narrated it in detail, and it will come again at number (2795). Reference / Source: All the imams of the Six Books narrated the incident of Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) giving up her turn, but it contains no mention of the revelation of the verse. 7/ 720. Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi narrated from Ibn Abbas that when Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) feared divorce, she gave her turn to A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and then this verse was revealed: ﴿وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ﴾. Al-Tirmidhi and al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar declared it "hasan". General principle: The more correct view is that the occasion of revelation of this verse is general; the incident of Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) alone is not its sole cause.
