Mustadrak al-Hakim 2211 — Entitlement to profit goes with liability

اردو

فأخبرَناه أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا أبو المثنى، حدثنا مُسدَّد، حدثنا يحيى، عن ابن أبي ذئب، عن مَخْلَد بن خُفاف، عن عُرْوة، عن عائشة: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قضى أنَّ الخَرَاج بالضَّمان (3).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that the benefit is in return for the liability (responsibility for loss).

Grading: The chain is
hasan and the hadith is
sahih. Abu al-Muthanna and Musaddad are thiqah.
وأخرجه أحمد 40/ (24224) عن يحيى القطّان، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it via the chain of Yahya al-Qattan.
