أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الحافظ، حدثنا يحيى بن محمد بن يحيى، حدثنا مسدَّد. وحدثنا علي بن حمشاذَ، أخبرنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، قالا: حدثنا يحيى - يعنيانِ ابن سعيد - حدثنا ابن عَجْلانَ، عن سعيد المَقْبُري، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إني أُحرِّجُ عليكم حقَّ الضعيفَين: اليتيم والمرأة" (3). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I declare (the violation of) the right of the two weak ones, the orphan and the woman, forbidden to you (that is, fear Allah concerning them)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(3) إسناده قوي من أجل ابن عجلان: واسمه محمد يحيى بن سعيد: هو القطّان. Grading: This chain is strong (qawi) because of Muhammad bin Ajlan, and Yahya bin Sa'id is "al-Qattan". وهو في "مسند أحمد" 15/ (9666). Reference / Source: This narration is found in the "Musnad Ahmad" (15/9666). وأخرجه ابن ماجه (3678)، والنسائي (9104) من طريقين عن يحيى القطان، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: Ibn Majah and al-Nasa'i narrated it through two different routes from Yahya al-Qattan. وسيأتي برقم (7344) من طريق الليث بن سعد عن ابن عجلان. Important point: This narration will come further on at number (7344) through the route of al-Layth bin Sa'd from Ibn Ajlan. قوله: "إني أحرِّج" أي: أضيّق على الناس في تضييع حقوقهما وأشدّد عليهم في ذلك وأحرِّمه عليهم. Note / Clarification: The words "inni uharrij" mean: I make it strict and severe for people in the matter of neglecting the rights (of the orphan and the woman), and I declare it forbidden for them.
