حدثنا أبو أحمد حمزة بن العباس العَقَبي ببغداد، حدثنا عبد الكريم بن الهيثم، حدثنا نُعيم بن حمَّاد. وأخبرنا أبو العباس محمد بن أحمد المحبوبي بمرو، حدثنا أحمد بن سيَّار، حدثنا وارث (1) بن عبيد الله، قالا: حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك، أخبرنا خالد بن مهران الحَذَّاء، عن عِكرمة، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "البَرَكةُ مع أكابركم" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Blessing is with your elders."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(1) كذا في النسخ الخطية، وهو مسمَّى في مصادر ترجمته عبد الوارث.
Technical note / Correction: The name is like this in the manuscripts, but in the books of narrator biographies (kutub al-rijal) his name is explicitly given as "Abd al-Warith".
(2) إسناده صحيح، نعيم بن حماد وعبد الوارث بن عبيد الله يشدُّ أحدهما الآخر، وقد توبعا.
Grading: Its chain is sahih, because Nu'aym bin Hammad and Abd al-Warith bin Ubayd Allah strengthen each other, and they have also been corroborated.
وأخرجه ابن حبان (559) من طريق الوليد بن مسلم، عن ابن المبارك، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (559) narrated it through the chain of al-Walid bin Muslim from Ibn al-Mubarak.
