Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 2112

Sahl bin Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the Qur'an and acts upon what is in it, his father will be made to wear a crown on the Day of Resurrection whose light will be more beautiful than the light of the sun in the houses of this world, if it were there. So what do you think of the one who himself acted upon it?"
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
