أخبرَنا أبو أحمد بكر بن محمد الصيرفي بمَرْو، حدثنا عبد الصمد بن الفضل البَلْخي، حدثنا مَكيُّ بن إبراهيم، عن عبيد الله بن أبي حُميد، عن أبي المَليح، عن مَعقِل بن يسار قال: قال النبي ﷺ: "أُعطيتُ فاتحةَ الكتابِ من تحت العرش، والمُفصَّلَ النافلةَ" (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was given the Opening of the Book (al-Fatihah) from beneath the Throne, and the Mufassal surahs as an additional gift (nafilah)."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده ضعيف جدًّا من أجل عبيد الله بن أبي حميد، فهو متروك الحديث كما أشار إليه الذهبي.
Grading: Because of 'Ubayd Allah bin Abi Humayd this chain is "extremely weak", since he is a "matruk" (abandoned) narrator.
وأخرجه البيهقي في "السنن الكبرى" 10/ 9، وفي "شعب الإيمان" (2249) عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi narrated it in "al-Sunan al-Kubra" and "Shu'ab al-Iman" through the chain of Imam al-Hakim.
وسيتكرر بهذا الإسناد بعينه ضمن حديث مطوَّل برقم (2114)، ويأتي تمام تخريجه هناك.
Repetition: This narration will come again within a long hadith at number (2114).
