أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي الدُّنيا، حدثنا الحسن بن الصبّاح وغيرُه، قالوا: حدثنا زيد بن الحُباب، حدثني عثمان بن عبد الله بن مَوهَب، قال: سمعت أنسَ بن مالك يقول: قال رسول الله ﷺ لفاطمةَ: "ما يمنعُكِ أن تَسمَعي ما أُوصيكِ به، أن تقولي إذا أصبَحتِ وإذا أمسَيتِ: يا حيُّ يا قيّومُ برحمتِك أستغيثُ، أصلِحْ لي شأني كلَّه، ولا تَكِلْني إلى نفسي طَرْفَةَ عَينٍ" (1).

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her): "What prevents you from listening to the advice I am giving you? Say in the morning and in the evening: 'Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum, bi-rahmatika astaghith, aslih li sha'ni kullahu, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata 'ayn' (O Ever-Living, O Sustainer of all, by Your mercy I call upon You for help; set right all my affairs for me, and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) إسناده حسن كما قال الحافظ ابن حجر في "مختصر زوائد البزار" (2121). وعثمان الراوي عن أنس إنما هو عثمان بن مَوهَب، وهو رجل كوفي قال عنه أبو حاتم الرازي: صالح الحديث، وليس هو بعثمان بن عبد الله بن موهب البصري كما قال المزيُّ في "تهذيب الكمال" 19/ 499، والحافظُ في "فتح الباري" 11/ 114، وسبقهما إلى التفريق بينهما ابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل" حيث ذكر الترجمتين 6/ 155 و 169، وعليه فتقييده في هذا الحديث عند المصنف بابن عبد الله بن مَوهَب خطأٌ، ومما يؤيد صحته أنَّ عثمان بن موهب قُيِّد في بعض روايات هذا الحديث بالهاشمي وبمولى بني هاشم، في حين أنَّ عثمان بن عبد الله بن مَوهَب مولًى لبني تَيْم.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan", as al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said. The narrator Uthman bin Mawhab is a Kufan who is "salih al-hadith" (fair in hadith). Writing him as "Ibn Abdullah bin Mawhab" in the author's (al-Hakim's) text is an error, because that one is a Basran narrator, whereas the narrator of this hadith is a Kufan and a freed slave (mawla) of Banu Hashim.
وأخرجه النسائي (10330) عن عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن سلَّام، عن زيد بن الحباب، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Nasa'i (10330) recorded it likewise through the chain of Zayd bin al-Hubab.
وفي الباب عن أبي بكرة الثقفي عند أحمد 34/ (20430)، وأبي داود (5090)، والنسائي (10412) بلفظ: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "دعاء المكروب: اللهم رحمتك أرجو، فلا تكلني إلى نفسي طَرفة عين، وأصلح لي شأني كله، لا إله إلّا أنت". وإسناده حسن في المتابعات والشواهد.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: On this topic there is the narration of Abu Bakrah al-Thaqafi (Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawud) with the words: "O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye." Its chain is "hasan" on the basis of supporting reports.
