أخبرنا أبو النَّضْر الفقيه، حدثنا عثمان بن سعيد الدارمي، حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل، حدثنا حماد بن سَلَمة، أخبرنا إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة، عن سعيد بن يَسَار، عن أبي هريرة، قال: كان رسولُ الله ﷺ يقول في دُعائه: "اللهمَّ إني أعوذُ بك من الفقر والقِلّة والذِّلّة، وأعوذُ بك من أن أَظلِمَ أو أُظلَم" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say in his supplication: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-faqri wal-qillati wadh-dhillah, wa a'udhu bika min an azlima aw uzlam' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty and want, from scarcity and from humiliation, and I also seek refuge in You from wronging anyone or being wronged).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(1) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد رجاله ثقات لكنه اختُلف فيه على إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة في تعيين راويه عن أبي هريرة كما سلف بيانه برقم (1968).
Grading: This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi" on account of its supporting reports; all the narrators of this chain are thiqah, but there has been disagreement in it over Ishaq bin 'Abd Allah bin Abi Talhah as to through whom he transmitted this narration from Abu Hurayrah, as detailed under no. (1968).
وأخرجه أبو داود (1544) عن موسى بن إسماعيل، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Abu Dawud (1544) narrated it likewise through the chain of Musa bin Isma'il.
وأخرجه أحمد 13/ (8053) و 14/ (8311) و (8643) من طرق عن حماد بن سلمة به.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it at (13/8053) and (14/8311, 8643) through various routes from Hammad bin Salamah.
وقد تقدَّم برقم (1968) من طريق الأوزاعي، عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة، عن جعفر بن عياض، عن أبي هريرة. فسمّى راويه عن أبي هريرة جعفر بن عياض!
Technical note: This narration has already passed at no. (1968) through Imam al-Awza'i, where he explicitly named the narrator who, via Ishaq bin 'Abd Allah bin Abi Talhah, narrates from Abu Hurayrah as "Ja'far bin 'Iyad".
