حدثني علي بن بُندار الزاهد، حدثنا جعفر بن محمد الفريابي، حدثنا محمد بن المثنى الزَّمِنُ، حدثنا خالد بن الحارث، حدثنا حُميد، عن أنس قال: كان صبيٌّ على ظهر الطريق، فمرَّ النبي ﷺ ومعه ناس، فلما رأت أمُّ الصبي القومَ خَشِيَت أن يُوطأ ابنُها، فسَعَتْ فحَمَلَته، فقالت: ابني ابني، قال القوم: يا رسول الله، ما كانت هذه لتُلقِيَ ابنَها في النار، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "ولا اللهُ يُلقي حبيبه في النار" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a child was on the road when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by with his Companions. When the child's mother saw the people, she feared that her son would be trampled underfoot, so she ran and picked him up, saying: My son! My son! The people said: O Messenger of Allah, this mother would never throw her son into the Fire. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And Allah too will never throw His beloved into the Fire."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) إسناده صحيح. حميد: هو ابن أبي حميد الطويل.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Note / Clarification: The narrator Humayd is "Humayd bin Abi Humayd al-Tawil".
وأخرجه أحمد 19 (12018) و (13467) من طريقين عن حميد الطويل، به. وسيأتي برقم (7534).
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it through two different routes from Humayd al-Tawil, and it will come again later at number (7534).
