Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 190

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Jibril (peace be upon him) began stuffing mud into the mouth of Pharaoh, fearing that he would say 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah) and Allah would have mercy on him", or he said: "fearing lest Allah have mercy on him."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
