أخبرنا الحسن بن محمد الحَلِيمي، حدثنا أبو المُوجِّه، أخبرنا عبدان، أخبرنا عبد الله، أخبرني يحيى بن حسان، يحدِّث عن ربيعة بن عامرٍ قال: سمعتُ النبي ﷺ يقول: "أَلِظُّوا بِيا ذا الجَلالِ والإكرام" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Rabi'ah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Alizzu bi-ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram (Hold fast to (the words) 'O Possessor of Majesty and Honour' and supplicate to Allah earnestly with them)."
This hadith is sahih al-isnad (its chain is authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده صحيح. أبو الموجه: هو محمد بن عمرو الفزاري، وعبدان: هو عبد الله بن عثمان المروزي، وعبد الله: هو ابن المبارك، ويحيى بن حسان: هو البكري الفلسطيني.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note: Abu al-Muwajjih is Muhammad bin Amr al-Fazari, Abdan is Abd Allah bin Uthman al-Marwazi, Abd Allah is Ibn al-Mubarak, and Yahya bin Hassan is al-Bakri al-Filastini.
وأخرجه النسائي (11499) عن محمد بن يحيى بن أيوب المروزي، عن عبدان، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (11499) narrated it from Muhammad bin Yahya bin Ayyub al-Marwazi, from Abdan, with this chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 29/ (17596)، والنسائي (7669) من طريقين عن عبد الله بن المبارك، به.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (29/17596) and al-Nasa'i (7669) narrated it by two routes from Abd Allah bin al-Mubarak.
وعن أنس بن مالك عند الترمذي (3524) و (3525). ورجَّح الترمذي أنه عن الحسن البصري مرسل.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) in al-Tirmidhi (3524, 3525), but Imam al-Tirmidhi preferred that it is a "mursal" narration of al-Hasan al-Basri.
قوله: "ألظّوا بيا ذا الجلال والإكرام" أي: الزموا هذا النداء واثبتوا عليه وأكثروا من قوله والتلفظ به في دعائكم.
Note / Clarification: "Alizzu bi-ya dha al-Jalal wa al-Ikram" means: hold fast to this call ("O Possessor of Majesty and Honour"), persist in it, and say it abundantly in your supplications.
