It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty is most merciful, modest and generous; He is too modest before His servant, when he raises his hands to Him, to then not place any good in those hands."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih, and here it is "mawquf" (a saying of the Companion), but the author narrated it after this as marfu'. Technical note: Sulayman al-Taymi is Ibn Tarkhan, Abu Uthman al-Nahdi is Abd al-Rahman bin Mall, and its Companion is Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him). Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (39/22714) narrated it from Yazid bin Harun, with this chain. (1983). Repetition: This narration will come as marfu' right after this, and again under number (1983). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: On this topic the narration of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) will also come later. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) in Abu Ya'la (1867), Ibn Adi in "al-Kamil" (7/156) and al-Tabarani in "al-Awsat" (4591), but its chain is weak.
