It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will call the believing servant until He makes him stand before Him. Then He will say: O My servant, I commanded you to supplicate to Me, and I promised you that I would answer you; so did you supplicate to Me? He will say: Yes, O my Lord. Then Allah Almighty will say: Whatever supplication you made (in the world), I answered it in your favour. Did you not supplicate to Me on such-and-such a day over a distress that had befallen you, that I remove it, and I removed it? He will say: Yes, O my Lord. Then Allah will say: That I fulfilled for you quickly in the world. And you supplicated on such-and-such a day over a hardship, that I remove it, but you did not see any effect of it in the world? He will say: Yes, O my Lord. Then Allah will say: In return for it I stored up for you in Paradise such-and-such blessings. And on such a day you supplicated to Me for a need to be fulfilled, and I fulfilled it? He will say: Yes, O my Lord. Then Allah will say: That I fulfilled for you quickly in the world. And on such-and-such a day you supplicated to Me for a need of yours, but you did not see it fulfilled in the world? He will say: Yes, O my Lord. Then Allah will say: In return for it I have reserved for you in Paradise such-and-such ranks." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will make clear to His believing servant the reality of every supplication he made: either it was fulfilled quickly in the world, or it was stored up for him for the Hereafter." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "At that station, (seeing the reward,) the believer will wish: If only none of my supplications had been fulfilled quickly in the world!"
Al-Fadl bin Isa al-Raqashi is alone in narrating this hadith from Muhammad bin al-Munkadir, and the standing of al-Fadl bin Isa is such that he cannot be suspected of fabricating hadith.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is very weak. There is consensus on the weakness of al-Fadl bin Isa al-Raqashi, and Abu Asim al-Abbadani is "layyin al-hadith" (soft, weak). Reference / Source: Imam al-Bayhaqi narrated it in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (1093) from Abu Abd Allah al-Hakim, with this chain. Reference / Source: Al-Dinawari narrated it in "al-Mujalasah" (126) from Ahmad bin Ali al-Marwazi, from Abd al-A'la bin Hammad. Reference / Source: Abu Nu'aym narrated it in "al-Hilyah" (6/208) by way of Sa'id bin Ya'qub, from Abu Asim al-Abbadani.
