فحدَّثَناه أبو الحسن إسماعيل بن محمد بن الفضل، حدثنا جدِّي حدثنا سعيد بن كَثِير بن عُفَير، حدثنا سليمان بن بلال، عن عمرو بن أبي عمرو، عن المُطَّلب بن عبد الله بن حَنْطَب، عن جابر بن عبد الله قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "صيدُ البَرِّ لكم حلالٌ ما لم تَصِيدُوه أو يُصادَ لكم" (2).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Land game is lawful for you as long as you do not hunt it yourselves and it is not hunted for you."
