أخبرنا أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيه، حدثنا أبو المثنى، حدثنا القعنبي، حدثنا يزيد بن زُريع. وأخبرنا محمد بن يعقوب الشَّيباني، حدثنا يحيى بن محمد بن يحيى، حدثنا مُسدَّد، حدثنا يزيد بن زُريع، عن خالدٍ الحذَّاء، عن أبي قلابة، عن أبي قلابة، عن عائشة قالت: قال: رسول الله ﷺ: "من أكمل المؤمنين إيمانًا أحسَنُهم خُلُقًا، وألطَفُهم بأهله" (2). رواةُ هذا الحديث عن آخرهم ثقاتٌ على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه بهذا اللفظ.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most complete of the believers in faith is the one who is best of them in character and the most gentle and kind towards his family."
All the narrators of this hadith are trustworthy on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it with this wording.

(2) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد رجاله ثقات عن آخرهم إلا أنه لا يُعرَف لأبي قلابة- وهو عبد الله بن زيد الجَرْمي - سماع من عائشة كما قال الترمذي، وقال المصنف فيما سلف بإثر حديث رقم (2) في رواية أبي قلابة هذه عن عائشة: أخشى أنَّ أبا قلابة لم يسمعه عن عائشة.
Grading: On the basis of supporting reports it is "sahih li-ghayrihi" (authentic due to external support).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The hearing of Abu Qilabah al-Jarmi from A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is not established, as al-Tirmidhi stated and as the author (al-Hakim) himself expressed concern.
أبو المثنى: هو معاذ بن المثنى العنبري، والقعنبي: هو عبد الله بن مسلمة.
Note / Clarification: The narrator Abu al-Muthanna is "Mu'adh bin al-Muthanna al-Anbari" and al-Qa'nabi is "Abd Allah bin Maslamah".
وأخرجه أحمد 40 / (24204) و 41 / (24677)، والترمذي (2612)، والنسائي (9109) من طرق عن خالد الحذَّاء بهذا الإسناد. وقال الترمذي: حديث حسن.
Reference / Source: Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi (2612) and al-Nasa'i narrated it through various routes from Khalid al-Hadhdha', with this same chain.
Grading: Al-Tirmidhi called it "hasan".
ويشهد له حديث أبي هريرة المتقدم برقم (1) و (2)، وهو حديث صحيح.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The earlier hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) (numbers 1 and 2), which are sahih, support it.
