It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep away from the valley of Uranah (do not stand there), and also keep away from the valley of Muhassir (do not stay there)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. It also has an authentic supporting narration (shahid) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, although there is some abridgement in its chain:

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note: In the manuscripts this name was distorted into "Abu Sa'id"; the correct name is the one we have established (Abu Ma'bad). Abu Ma'bad refers to Nafidh, the freed slave (mawla) of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him).
Grading: This hadith is sahih. Although Muhammad bin Kathir has been criticised, he is taken into account in corroborating chains and supporting reports, and here he is corroborated; moreover, all the narrators above him are thiqah. Technical note: Ziyad bin Sa'd is al-Khurasani, and Abu al-Zubayr refers to Muhammad bin Muslim bin Tadrus. (5280). Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (3/1896) narrated it from Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah with this same chain. Its wording is: "Move quickly out of the valley of Muhassir, and you must throw pebbles like those used for flicking (khadhf, about the size of a fingertip)." Its details will come later at no. (5280). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: On this subject there is the hadith of Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) in Ahmad and Ibn Hibban, but its chain is weak because of a break (inqita'). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: There is a narration from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) in Ibn Majah, but it contains al-Qasim bin Abd Allah al-'Umari, who is a "matruk" (unreliable) narrator. Note / Clarification: "Batn 'Uranah" is the name of a place near the standing area at 'Arafat. Note / Clarification: "Batn Muhassir" is the name of a valley between 'Arafat and Mina.
