It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that it is the Sunnah of Hajj that the imam should offer the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Fajr prayers at Mina, then set out for Arafah and take his midday rest wherever it is possible for him, until, when the sun passes its zenith, he should address the people, then offer the Zuhr and Asr prayers together, combining them; then he should stand at Arafat until the sun sets, then depart from there and pray at Muzdalifah or wherever Allah decrees, then stay at Muzdalifah until, when dawn breaks and it becomes quite light, he should move on before sunrise. Then, when he has stoned the Great Jamrah, everything that was forbidden to him (because of ihram) becomes lawful for him, except women and perfume, until he visits the House of Allah (tawaf al-ifadah).
This hadith is on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
