أخبرني عبد الله بن الحسين القاضي بمَرْو، حدثنا الحارث بن أبي أسامة، حدثنا الأسود بن عامر، حدثنا أبو كُدَينةَ يحيى بن المُهلَّب البَجَلي، عن الأعمش، عن الحَكَم، عن مِقْسَم، عن ابن عباس: أنَّ النبيَّ ﷺ صلَّى خمسَ صلواتٍ بمِنًى (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered five prayers (Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Fajr) at Mina.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده صحيح، رجاله ثقات. الأعمش: هو سليمان بن مهران، والحكم: هو ابن عُتيبة، ومقسم: هو مولى ابن عباس.
Grading: Its chain is sahih and all its narrators are thiqah.
Technical note: Al-A'mash refers to Sulayman bin Mihran, al-Hakam to Ibn 'Utaybah, and Miqsam to the freed slave (mawla) of Ibn 'Abbas.
وأخرجه أحمد 4/ (2700) و (2765) عن الأسود بن عامر، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (4/2700, 2765) narrated it with this same chain.
وأخرج أبو داود (1911) من طريق عمار بن رزيق، والترمذي (880) من طريق عبد الله بن الأجلح، كلاهما عن الأعمش، به إلى ابن عباس قال: صلى رسول الله ﷺ الظهر يوم التروية، ¤ ¤ والفجر يوم عرفة بمنى.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (1911) and al-Tirmidhi (880) narrated through al-A'mash that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed Zuhr on the Day of Tarwiyah and Fajr on the Day of 'Arafah at Mina.
وأخرج ابن ماجه (3004)، والترمذي (879) من طريق إسماعيل بن مسلم، عن عطاء بن أبي رباح، عن ابن عباس قال: صلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ بمنى الظهر والعصر والمغرب والعشاء والفجر، ثم غدا إلى عرفات. قال الترمذي: وإسماعيل بن مسلم قد تكلموا فيه من قبل حفظه.
Reference / Source: Ibn Majah and al-Tirmidhi narrated through Isma'il bin Muslim that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed all five prayers at Mina and then set off for 'Arafat.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Imam al-Tirmidhi said that Isma'il bin Muslim's memory has been criticised.
