Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1711

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that one day before the Day of Tarwiyah (the 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver a sermon to the people and inform them about their rites of Hajj.
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Grading: Its chain is "hasan", because Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Ziyadi is saduq and the rest of the narrators are thiqah.
Technical note: Abu Qurrah refers to Musa bin Tariq al-Yamani.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi (5/111) narrated it through al-Hakim with this same chain.
Reference / Source: Ibn Khuzaymah (2793) narrated it by way of 'Amr bin Mujammi'.
Grading: 'Amr bin Mujammi' is a weak narrator.
