Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1662

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no concept of sarurah (avoiding the performance of Hajj, or renouncing the world) in Islam."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): This hadith appears in all the manuscripts with this chain, but al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar did not mention it, nor has it been found in any other book with this chain. The most likely explanation is that an early copyist attached the text of the previous hadith to the chain of the following hadith.
