It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Banu Abd Manaf! Never prevent anyone from performing tawaf of this House (the House of Allah) and from praying here, at whatever hour of the night or day he wishes to perform tawaf or pray."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Grading: Its isnad is sahih. Criticism of a narrator: Abu Bakr bin Ishaq is Ahmad, al-Humaydi is Abd Allah bin al-Zubayr, Sufyan is Ibn 'Uyaynah, and Abu al-Zubayr is Muhammad bin Muslim bin Tadrus al-Makki. 27/ (16736). Variation in the chain: There is some disagreement over this chain from Abu al-Zubayr, which al-Daraqutni mentioned in "al-'Ilal" (3326), and which we have explained in detail in Musnad Ahmad 27/ (16736). Reference / Source: Ahmad, Abu Dawud (1894), Ibn Majah (1254), al-Tirmidhi and al-Nasa'i narrated it via various routes from Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah. Imam al-Tirmidhi called it "hasan sahih". Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it via Ibn Jurayj and Ibn Hibban via 'Amr bin al-Harith, from Abu al-Zubayr. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (16753) narrated it via Ibn Abi Najih from Abd Allah bin Babah. 2/ 273. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: On this topic, narrations of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) are found in al-Fakihi, al-Tahawi, al-Tabarani, al-Daraqutni and others.
