It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) halted (on a journey) during the night, he would lie down on his right side, and if he halted shortly before dawn (Fajr), he would raise his forearms upright and rest his blessed head on his palm.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Clarification: This name begins with a ra' bearing a kasrah, as al-Khatib al-Baghdadi and al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar specified.
Grading: Its isnad is sahih. Criticism of a narrator: Humayd is Ibn Abi Humayd al-Tawil, and Bakr bin Abd Allah is al-Muzani. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (37/ 22546) narrated it via Yazid bin Harun at the end of a long hadith. Reference / Source: Ahmad (22632), Muslim (683) and Ibn Hibban (6438) narrated it via routes from Hammad bin Salamah. Important point: The author's (al-Hakim's) inclusion of it in al-Mustadrak is an oversight on his part, since it is in Sahih Muslim. Important point: "Al-ta'ris" means a traveller stopping at a place in the last part of the night to rest and sleep.
