Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1589

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This religion will remain dominant as long as people hasten to break the fast, because the Jews and the Christians delay breaking the fast."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Note / Clarification: In the manuscripts there was an error in the name here; the correct name is "Yahya bin Muhammad bin Yahya al-Dhuhli", as stated explicitly in "Ithaf al-Maharah" (16/ 122).
