It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever asks you by Allah, give to him; whoever seeks refuge in the name of Allah, give him refuge; and whoever invites you, accept his invitation."
This chain is sahih (authentic). Both of these chains are established as sahih from Imam al-A'mash on the condition of the two Shaykhs, and our principle is that we accept additions made by trustworthy narrators in chains and texts.

16/ (10651). Grading: The hadith is sahih, but there is disagreement from its narrator Abu Bakr bin Ayyash regarding this chain. Al-Aswad bin Amir narrated it through al-A'mash, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah, and Imam Ahmad in "al-Musnad" (16/ 10651) corroborated al-Harith bin Abi Usamah in narrating it from al-Aswad with this chain. Variation in the chain: In another place (9/ 5703), Imam Ahmad narrated it through al-Aswad bin Amir, from Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, with the chain Layth bin Abi Sulaym, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar. Criticism of a narrator: Layth bin Abi Sulaym is weak. (112). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Thabit bin Muhammad al-Shaybani (who is saduq but makes mistakes) corroborated al-Aswad bin Amir in this chain of Layth; al-Tabari narrated it in "Tahdhib al-Athar" (106, 112). Reference / Source: Al-Daraqutni said in "al-Ilal" (2212): "These words are known only through the chain al-A'mash, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar."
