It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdurrahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Has any of you fed a poor person today?" Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I entered the mosque and found a beggar asking; I saw a piece of bread in Abdurrahman's hand, so I took it and gave it to that beggar."
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Muslim, but they did not record it.
