أخبرنا أبو العباس القاسم بن القاسم السَّيَّاري، حدثنا أبو المُوجِّه، حدثنا أبو عمّار، حدثني النَّضْر بن شُمَيل، حدثنا حمَاد بن سَلَمة، عن قتادة، عن أنس بن مالك: أنَّ جنازةَ يهوديٍّ مرَّتْ برسول الله ﷺ، فقام، فقالوا: يا رسول الله، إنها جنازة يهوديٍّ، فقال: "إنَّما قمتُ للملائكة" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه بهذا اللفظ، غيرَ أنهما قد اتَّفقا على إخراج حديث عُبيد الله بن مِقْسَم عن جابر في القيام لجنازةِ اليهودي (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the funeral of a Jew passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and he stood up. The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is the funeral of a Jew." He said: "I stood only because of the angels."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it with this wording; however, the two of them agreed on recording the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Miqsam from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about standing for the funeral of a Jew.

(1) إسناده صحيح أبو الموجِّه: هو محمد بن عمرو الفزاري المروزي، وأبو عمار: هو الحسين بن حريث المروزي، وقتادة: هو ابن دعامة السدوسي.
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih. Abu 'Ammar al-Husayn bin Hurayth is a trustworthy narrator in it.
وأخرجه النسائي (2066) عن إسحاق بن راهويه، عن النضر بن شميل، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (2066) narrated it via Ishaq bin Rahawayh from al-Nadr bin Shumayl.
وفي الباب عن أبي موسى الأشعري عند أحمد في "المسند" 32/ (19491)، وفي إسناده ليث بن أبي سليم وهو ضعيف.
Grading: On this topic, the narration of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) is in the Musnad of Ahmad (32/19491), but in it Layth bin Abi Sulaym is a weak narrator.
(2) أخرجه البخاري (1311)، ومسلم (960) (78)، ولفظه: مرَّ بنا جنازة، فقام لها النبي ﷺ وقمنا، فقلنا: يا رسول الله، إنها جنازة يهودي، قال: "إذا رأيتم الجنازة فقوموا".
