حَالَةُ قَبْضِ رُوحِ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَرُوحِ الْكَافِرِ وَمَا يُقَالُ لَهُ وَيُفْعَلُ بِهِ
How the soul of the believer and the soul of the disbeliever are taken, and what is said to each and done with him

أخبرَنيهِ أبو بكر بن عبد الله، أخبرنا الحسنُ بن سفيان، حدثنا محمد بن أبي بكر المُقدَّمي، حدثنا معاذ بن هشام، حدثني أبي، عن قَتَادة، عن قَسَامة بن زهير، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي ﷺ، نحوه (1). وقال همَّام بنُ يحيى: عن قتادة، عن أبي الجَوْزاء، عن أبي هريرة:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said something similar (with the same meaning as the hadith above).

Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه النسائي (1972)، وابن حبان (3014) من طريقين عن معاذ بن هشام، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (1972) and Ibn Hibban (3014) narrated it via two routes from Mu'adh bin Hisham with this same chain.
