أخبرنا بكر بن محمد الصَّيرَفي، حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن شاكر، حدثنا سعد بن عبد الحميد بن جعفر، حدثنا عبد الرحمن أبي الزِّناد، عن موسى بن عُقبة، عن عُبيد الله بن سَلْمان، عن أبيه أبي عبد الله سلمانَ الأغرّ، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "من صلَّى في ليلةٍ بمئة آية لم يُكتبْ من الغافلين، ومن صلَّى في ليلةٍ بمئتي آيةٍ فإنه يُكتبُ من القانتين المخلَصِين" (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays with one hundred verses in a night will not be written among the heedless, and whoever prays with two hundred verses in a night will be written among the sincere, devoutly obedient servants of Allah."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but they did not record it.

(1) إسناده حسن من أجل سعد بن عبد الحميد بن جعفر وشيخه عبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد.
Grading: (1) The chain is "hasan" on account of Sa'd bin Abd al-Hamid and his shaykh Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Zinad.
وأخرجه البيهقي في "السنن الصغرى" (813)، وفي "شعب الإيمان" (2001) عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: al-Bayhaqi narrated it in "al-Sunan al-Sughra" and "Shu'ab al-Iman" through the chain of al-Hakim.
وأخرجه ابن خزيمة (1143) عن محمد بن يحيى، عن سعد بن عبد الحميد، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn Khuzaymah (1143) narrated it through the chain of Muhammad bin Yahya from Sa'd.
وأخرجه البزار (725) و (8284) من طريق يوسف بن خالد السمتي، عن موسى بن عقبة، به. ويوسف بن خالد هذا متروك، لا يصلح متابعًا لابن أبي الزناد.
Defect ('illah) / Technical note: Yusuf bin Khalid al-Samti is a "matruk" narrator; he is not fit to corroborate Ibn Abi al-Zinad. See the previous discussion on its inconsistency (idtirab).
