حدثنا عبد الباقي بن قانع الحافظ، حدثنا زياد بن الخليل التُّستَري، حدثنا إبراهيم بن المنذر الحِزامي، حدثنا محمد بن فُلَيح، عن أبيه، عن هلال بن علي، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عَمْرة، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إذا أصبَحَ أحدُكم ولم يُوتِر فليُوتِر" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you wakes in the morning (at Fajr time) and has not prayed witr, let him pray witr."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(1) إسناده حسن، فليح - وهو ابن سليمان - والد محمد بن فليح، حديثه حسن في المتابعات والشواهد.
Grading: (1) Its chain is "hasan"; the hadith of Fulayh bin Sulayman is hasan in corroborating chains and supporting reports.
وأخرجه البيهقي 2/ 478 عن أبي عبد الله الحكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: al-Bayhaqi (2/478) narrated it through the chain of Imam al-Hakim.
وله شاهد بإسناد صحيح، سلف برقم (1140) من حديث أبي سعيد الخدري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "من نام عن وتره أو نسيه فليصله إذا أصبح أو ذكره".
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It has a supporting report (shahid) with a sahih chain that has already passed at no. (1140), from the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri: "Whoever forgets to pray Witr or sleeps through it, let him pray it when morning comes or when he remembers it."
