Yazid bin Khumayr al-Rahabi narrates that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), went out (to the Eid prayer ground) with the people on the day of Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha, and he disapproved of the imam's delay and said: With the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) we used to have finished (the prayer) by this hour, and that was the time of the voluntary (ishraq) prayer.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
6/ 530. Technical note: (1) In the manuscripts it had become "Umar"; the correct form is "Amr" (Safwan bin Amr) (Ithaf al-Maharah 6/530).
Technical note: (2) In the manuscripts it had become "Umayr"; the correct form is "Urwah" (Urwah bin Ruwaym).
(Note / Clarification): (3) "waqt al-subhah": i.e. the time of the voluntary prayer, which is the time of Duha (forenoon), after the disliked time has passed.
Grading: (4) Its chain is sahih. Abu al-Mughirah refers to Abd al-Quddus al-Khawlani. Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (1135) narrated it through the chain of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal. Reference / Source: Ibn Majah (1317) narrated it through the chain of Isma'il bin Ayyash from Safwan. Reference / Source: Imam al-Bukhari mentioned it from Abdullah bin Busr without a chain, as a mu'allaq report. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Hajar attributed it to Musnad Ahmad, but this is his mistake; this narration was not found in any reliable manuscript of Musnad Ahmad, nor did Ibn Kathir attribute it to Ahmad.
