حدثنا أبو سعيد أحمد بن يعقوب الثقفي، حدثنا موسى بن هارون بن عبد الله، حدثنا أَبي، حدثنا أبو داود الحَفَري، حدثني حفص بن غِيَاث، عن حُمَيد، عن عبد الله بن شَقِيق، عن عائشة أنها قالت: رأيتُ رسولَ الله ﷺ يصلِّي متربِّعًا (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه، إنما اتَّفقا (2) على إخراج حديث حُميدٍ عن عبد الله بن شَقِيق عن عائشة قالت: كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلِّي ليلًا طويلًا قائمًا، الحديث. وحميدٌ هذا: هو ابن تِيرَوَيهِ الطويلُ بلا شكٍّ فيه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying cross-legged (mutarabbi'an).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it. Both of them agreed on the narration of "Humayd from Abdullah bin Shaqiq from Aishah" that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray at night with long standing. And in this chain, Humayd is without doubt Humayd al-Tawil.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it.
