أخبرنا الحسين بن الحسن بن أيوب، حدثنا أبو يحيى بن أبي مَسَرّة، حدثنا ابن أبي مريم، أخبرنا نافع بن يزيد، حدثنا يحيى بن أبي سليمان، عن زيدٍ أبي عَتَّاب وسعيد بن أبي سعيد المَقبُري، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إذا جئتُم إلى الصلاة ونحن سجودٌ فاسجُدُوا ولا تَعدُّوها شيئًا، ومَن أدرَكَ الركعةَ فقد أدركَ الصلاة" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح، قد احتَجَّ الشيخان برُواتِه عن آخرهم غير يحيى بن أبي سليمان، وهو شيخٌ من أهل المدينة سَكَنَ مصرَ ولم يُذكَر بجرح.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you come to the prayer while we are in prostration, then prostrate too, but do not count it (as a rak'ah). Whoever catches the rak'ah (with the bowing) has caught the prayer."
This hadith is sahih; the two Shaykhs used all of its narrators as evidence except Yahya bin Abi Sulayman, who was an elder (shaykh) of the people of Madinah who settled in Egypt, and no criticism (jarh) of him has been reported.
