It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that some Abyssinians were dancing in front of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, singing that Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is a good man. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked, "What are these people saying?" The people informed him that they are saying, "Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is a good man."

Consequently, the people did not graft that year, due to which the date crop was not good that year. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) inquired about the reason, the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted that, upon your instruction, the people did not graft. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If it is a worldly matter, you know it better than I do, and if it is a matter of religion, then bring it to me."

Give me also from the wealth of Allah that you have." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards him and only smiled, then ordered that something be given to him.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he saw yellow color applied on him, so he expressed displeasure at it. When the man left, the Prophet said to one of the companions, "If you had ordered that person to wash off that color, how good it would have been!" And it was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he would not come before anyone with such a face that would express displeasure.
