It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the wind would blow, signs of fear could clearly be seen on the blessed face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I did not see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing the Duha prayer except when he was setting out on a journey or returning from a journey.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would return from a journey and his eyes would fall upon the walls of Madinah, he would dismount from his ride, and if he remained on the ride, he would hasten its pace out of love for Madinah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would intend to fast, people would inform each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has made the intention to fast, and when he would break his fast, people would also inform each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has broken his fast.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! A man loves a certain people but cannot reach their deeds, so what is the ruling?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A person will be with those whom he loves."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in a voluntary prayer. Hazrat Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) and Hazrat Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) also prayed behind us, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made me stand on his right side. Thus, we all prayed in a single sheet.

Abu Lubaid, may Allah have mercy on him, narrated from Mazah bin Ziyar, may Allah be pleased with him, that I sent my horse during the time of Hajjaj bin Yusuf and thought that we also participate in horse racing with a wager. Then we thought that first we should go and ask Hazrat Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, whether you people used to place wagers on horse racing during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him? So we went to him and asked him, and he replied, "Yes! Once he participated in a horse race with one of his horses, whose name was Subhah, and it went ahead of all the others, which amazed him."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man with yellow color applied on him, so he showed displeasure at this and said, "If you had ordered this person to wash off this color, how good it would have been!" And it was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he would not come before anyone with such a face that would express displeasure.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was returning from the Battle of Tabuk and approached near Madinah Munawwarah, he said: "There are some people in Madinah Munawwarah that whichever path you traveled and whichever valley you crossed, they were with you in that." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Even though they were in Madinah, were they with us?" He replied, "Yes! Even though they were in Madinah, because some excuse had kept them back."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I brought some gourd in a bowl to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was very fond of gourd, so he began to search for it with his fingers.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day he saw a silver ring in the hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), people also had silver rings made. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took off his ring and threw it away, and the people also took off and threw away their rings.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes visit all his pure wives in a single night with only one bath.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the time for Isha prayer had come, a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have a task with you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to converse with him alone in the mosque until the people fell asleep. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer, and the narrator did not mention ablution.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer during the cold days, we could not tell whether most of the day had passed or was still remaining.

Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the dyeing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he replied that there were very few white hairs in the blessed beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). However, Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to dye their hair with henna and katam. Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of the conquest of Makkah brought his father Abu Quhafa (may Allah be pleased with him) on his back to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and after reaching the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), made him sit down. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), considering the honor of Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), said that if you had left the elder at home, we would have gone to him ourselves. In short, Abu Quhafa (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam at that time, and the hair of his head and beard had become white like the herb called "thaghama." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Change his color, but avoid using black color.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I went with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to visit Zaid bin Arqam, whose eyesight had gone. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Zaid! Tell me, if your eyes are taken away from where they were given, what will you do?" He replied, "I will be patient and hope for reward." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If your eyesight is taken away and you are patient over it and hope for reward, then you will meet Allah in such a state that there will be no sin upon you."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me a kunyah after the name of the vegetable which I used to pick.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of dates before they form clusters, grains before they are husked, and fruits before they ripen.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people from the tribe of 'Uraina came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but the climate of Madinah did not suit them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: If you go to our camels and drink their milk and urine, perhaps you will recover.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the night of Mi'raj, fifty prayers were made obligatory upon the Prophet (peace be upon him). They were reduced until only five remained, and then it was proclaimed: O Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Our word does not change here; you will receive the reward of fifty for these five.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that sometimes when the time for prayer would come, a man would come and start talking to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding some need of his, and he would stand between him and the Qiblah and keep talking continuously, to the extent that due to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) standing for a long time for his sake, some people would even fall asleep.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the Zuhr prayer at the time of the decline of the sun.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the Asr prayer at such a time that if someone wanted to go to Awali after the prayer, the sun would still be high.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the evening meal is served and the prayer is established, then eat the food first and then perform the prayer.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take care to straighten the rows, for I see you from behind me as well.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made for himself and had engraved on it "Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah," and said, "No person should have this inscription engraved on his ring."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin, whose name was Zahir, used to bring some gift for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whenever he came from the village, and when he was about to return, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would give him many things and send him off. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say, "Zahir is our village and we are his city." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved him, even though in terms of appearance he was not attractive. One day, Zahir was standing by his goods, selling them, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came from behind and embraced him, placing his hands over his eyes. He began to say, "Who is it? Let me go." Then he realized and recognized the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he began to press his back closer to the chest of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) started calling out, "Who will buy this slave?" He said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! You will find me to be a worthless coin." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "But you are not worthless in the sight of Allah; rather, you have great value."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that, in happiness at the arrival of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah Munawwarah, the Abyssinians displayed feats with spears.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Ansar are my protection, with whom I have found shelter. Therefore, accept the good deeds of the Ansar and overlook and forgive their wrongdoers, for they have fulfilled their duty and their right remains."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Forgive the Ansar, the children of the Ansar, and the wives of the Ansar.

The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would raise his head from prostration or bowing, and would pause between the two for so long that we would begin to think that perhaps the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had forgotten.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Qunoot Nazilah after bowing in the Fajr prayer for a month and continued to invoke curses upon the tribes of Ri'l, Dhakwan, 'Usayyah, and Banu Lihyan.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell from a horse, which caused an injury to his right side. We went to visit the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and during this time, the time for prayer arrived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer while sitting, and we also performed the prayer sitting. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Imam is appointed so that he may be followed, so when he says the takbeer, you also say the takbeer; when he bows (in ruku‘), you also bow; when he prostrates, you also prostrate; when he says 'Sami‘ Allahu liman hamidah,' you say 'Rabbana wa lakal hamd'; and when he performs the prayer sitting, you should all also perform the prayer sitting."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to always recite Qunoot Nazilah in the Fajr prayer until he departed from this world.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In Islam, there is no validity to exchange marriages (watay satay) in which no dowry (mahr) has been specified; in Islam, there is no validity to giving poetic similes by naming imaginary beloveds; in Islam, there is no validity to becoming an ally of any tribe; it is also not correct for the collector of zakat to select the best wealth, nor for people to adopt tricks to avoid zakat.
