It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Khalid bint Khalid (may Allah be pleased with her) that some garments were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), among them a small khamisah (a black square cloak). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whom do you think this should be given to wear?" The people remained silent. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring Umm Khalid to me." So I was brought, carried in someone's arms, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) took the khamisah in his hand and put it on me, and said: "Wear it out and make it old, wear it out and make it old." She said: It had a green or yellow mark on it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umm Khalid! This is sanah." And sanah in the Abyssinian language means "husn (beautiful)".
