حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفًّى، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ، أَنَّهَا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ هَذِهِ؟» ، فَقَالُوا: أُمُّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتُ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ، فَقَالَ: «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهُ الَّذِي يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ يَعْنِي الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِ»
Sayyidah Umm Khalid bint al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who is this?" The people said: Umm Khalid bint al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All praise is for Allah, who brings forth the living from the dead", meaning the believer from the disbeliever.
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُمِّ خَالِدٍ فَقَالَ: مَنْ هَذِهِ؟ فَقَالُوا: بَعْضُ خَالَاتِكِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ خالِاتي فِي هَذِهِ الْأَرْضِ لَغَرَائِبُ مِنْ هَذِهِ، قَالُوا: أُمُّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتُ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ، فَقَالَ: «سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ»
Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utbah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Umm Khalid and asked: "Who is this?" The people said: One of your maternal aunts. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In this land my maternal aunts are strangers (that is, rare)." The people said: This is Umm Khalid bint al-Aswad bin Abd Yaghuth. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glory be to the One who brings forth the living from the dead."
