حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبٍ، مَوْلَاةِ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةِ قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ فِي النِّسْوَةِ اللَّاتِي أَهْدَيْنَ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «اصْبُبْنَ إِذَا صَبَبْتُنَّ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا ثَلَاثًا فِي الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»
Sayyidah Umm Habib (may Allah be pleased with her), the freed slave-woman of Umm Atiyyah, said: I was among the women who escorted the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) as a bride, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you pour water over her head, pour it three times in the ritual bath (ghusl) for major impurity (janabah)."
