Fatimah bint al-Mundhir (may Allah have mercy on her) narrates from Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream after his death, and I saw him saying: "O Asma'! Has the Qur'an been distorted?" I said: May my father and mother be ransomed for you, such (people) are there: the one who distorts and the one who keeps to the straight path (both exist). He (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated this several times, and each time I kept saying: May my father and mother be ransomed for you, the one who distorts and the one who keeps to the straight path. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "How are your sons?" I said: O Messenger of Allah! They are being seized in a severe grip. Then I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) look at one of his wives - it was as if she were Hafsah bint Umar (may Allah be pleased with her) - and he said: "Give her a cure for her two sons; but as for death, I do not cure from it." Then I saw her give me a black seed, like nigella (black seed), or like leek seed, and red earth, and a string of pearls. She said: "So whenever any of the descendants of Asma', among all the tribes, falls ill, a bowl is taken for him and filled with water, then red earth, leek seeds, nigella and a string of pearls are put into it, then that water is poured over him."
